About

Movement is the best investment you have.

We're building the practice we wish existed. A physical therapist who reads the whole record of how you move, drawn from the data of a life rather than a rushed five minutes. Who stays with you as your body changes. Who reaches out with what matters before you have to ask.

The thesis

Movement is the highest-return investment in healthy aging. It's also the one the health system serves worst, and treats as a series of one-off fixes.

People wait weeks for a physical therapist, land in an ER for a sprain, or quietly give up and decondition. Meanwhile the answer is usually scattered, across their sleep, their training, the old injury that never fully resolved, the week life changed, invisible to the person living in it and to the clinician trying to help.

The bottleneck is clinician time. Modern AI can relieve it without replacing the clinician: it connects the data, builds the picture, and does the busywork, so a physical therapist can spend their judgment where it counts, reading how you move and turning it into a plan for where your effort pays off most. It keeps working between visits: it stays with you as your body changes, reaches out before you have to ask, and connects you to trusted specialists near you and the voices worth following. The result is care that's faster and more personal, and health that compounds over a lifetime.

The gap we started from

The people who need movement care the most are often the ones who can least get to it.

Someone living with Alzheimer's or ALS. A person in cancer treatment, or managing heart disease or a metabolic condition. A parent deep in pregnancy or the fog of postpartum recovery. For all of them, movement is one of the highest-leverage things they can do, and it is also the hardest to reach: leaving the house is a project, the right specialist is a long waitlist or a long drive away, and care tends to arrive late, in fragments, only after something has already gone wrong.

That gap is where Alodaptive started, and it is what proactive care exists to close. A licensed physical therapist who already holds the full picture of how you move, who checks in between visits, who notices a shift in your data and reaches out before it becomes a setback, and who meets you where you are instead of asking you to come to them. Care that comes to you, keeps watch, and acts early, so the people specialists struggle to reach are the first ones we serve, not the last. That is the mission we are building toward.

From the founder

I'm a physical therapist, and an investor at heart. Movement is a long-term asset, maybe the best one you have, but it often gets treated like an expense or tax on your life. Let's reframe the narrative. Learn to invest in movement, and watch the value of your life compound.

What we won't compromise

The conflicts we refuse to have.

No advertising

We don't sell your attention. Alodaptive makes money from analysis, not from ads, so our only incentive is to read your movement well.

Movement, not merchandise

We're physical therapists. We don't sell medications, devices, or supplements. The product is the analysis and the plan, nothing you didn't ask for.

The clinician decides

AI organizes and visualizes; it never decides. Every analysis and plan is made and owned by a licensed physical therapist exercising their own judgment.

No false precision

Scores like the Movement Capacity Index are models, built from your own data to make movement legible and trackable, not lab measurements. We're clear about what they are and aren't, and we won't dress them up as more certain than they are or promise outcomes we can't back.

Outcomes

We hold ourselves to the returns that actually matter: did your capacity grow, did it outpace the load life puts on it, did you avoid a setback or a visit you didn't need. As the practice grows, we'll measure those outcomes against a real population and publish them honestly, once they're real, not before.

Talk to us.

Press, partnerships, or a clinician who wants to practice differently, we read every note.
